Live Wedding Painting

Turn Your Wedding Day Into a Timeless Work of Art

Paintings that capture the heart of your day--created on-site, just for you.

Madison + Josh Wedding Day Previews with Tanika Jane Photography-52.JPEG

"Kinza’s live painting was such a special part of our wedding day and I cannot recommend her enough as an artist and vendor!

It was so much fun to watch her painting come to life throughout the night and we had many guests share how much they enjoyed watching her paint!

Kinza is incredibly talented and captured many intricate details from facial expressions, to flowers and candles, to the floral lace on my dress. We have Kinza’s painting hanging in our loft now and know we will cherish this memory from our ceremony forever!"

About the Artist

Hi! I'm Kinza Kirkman.

Weddings are such a beautiful celebration of choosing one person for the rest of your life. A beautiful covenant is made to love and to cherish in sickness and in health. It's an event that deserves to be remembered and documented.

I've been an artist all my life. When I was young I wanted to be a painter. I graduated with a Studio Art degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2018 and also studied abroad at the American University of Rome. I've painted professionally for several years and have fulfilled the dream of my younger self!

I am happily married to Robert and we have three boys together. They are my biggest cheerleaders. My oldest loves to create with me and often gives his opinions on my paintings!

FAQ  Section

Q: What kind of paint do you use?

A: In our pre-wedding chat, we can discuss your vision and preferred style. Using oil paint creates a loose, impressionistic piece that flows beautifully. Acrylic paint will create a detailed look and dries quickly. I can use either one!

Q: What if it rains?

A: Wherever you move your ceremony or reception to, I will adapt and capture your day as it is! I'll only need a dry place to set up and paint.

Q: How long does it take to finish?

A: I will cover up your canvas on your wedding day with paint. Figures will be represented with the bride and groom more defined and guests loosely represented if included in your package. My style is loosely impressionist and important details will be added in the studio afterwards!

Q: Do you travel?

A: Yes! I do travel. I charge extra when booking 60 miles or more out of Wilmington. This includes .65 per gallon and a hotel stay if needed.

Q: Can I gift this to someone else?

A: Absolutely! Just have a conversation beforehand with the bride and groom to make sure you have their permission.
